I guarantee your friends are interested in your OCs, writing, or whatever fixation you have, even if they don’t say much in when you’re talking about it. Sometimes people just don’t have the right thing to say right that instant, sometimes it takes time to think of a thought out response. Even if they don’t say anything at all your friends are your friends and they genuinely appreciate receiving whatever it is for you and seeing you happy about an interest.
